Photos of the Blizzard of 2010 in Brooklyn New York
What TERRIFIC photos!! You musta been cold while taking them!! WOW!!! The snow ATE the cars!! (3rd photo down, with all the shadows, even the stop sign...the shadows really add to this one! :) THANKS FOR SHARING....I soooo miss the snow in the South. :) All of them are great...the guy walking down the middle of the street, on top of the snow!! Kudos!!
You've added more really great pics, and, of course, I have to comment on the first one that is another great demonstration of the cold, the shadows from the buildings, and the footprints deep in the snow...such a story it tells; however, the very last one should be called "Winter Blizzard Bedlam in Brooklyn"!! The snowdrifts in front of and behind the vehicles, the abandoned cars stranded there makes you wonder just where the people escaped to, and the "caution" light on the traffic light is perfect for this scene...plus the details of the grey car in the center being covered with ice, and the ice hanging from the bumper of the bus....just a really wonderful shot!! Thanks for sharing and braving the cold to do that!! :)
